Cayenne Mileage
Help me choose a car....?
NISSAN MURANO - top choice - but price tag is $40k - non-luxury brand for a luxury brand price.
PORSCHE CAYENNE - second choice - similar price tag but not as reliable and costs to maintain may make it out of league... but for price I would have a luxury brand "porsche" and not a Nissan
BMW X5 - 3rd Choice - price tag $40k+ - would give me the "status" symbol of Luxury brand, but doesn't some features / reliability / gas mileage of Murano
LEXUS RX300H - 4th Choice - price tag $40k+ - luxury brand, reliable, but I am not as found of body style and does not have the features the Murano comes with
FOR THE PRICE TAG - SHOULD I BUY A TRUE LUXURY BRAND? I have earned it - and want the "status symbol" of a luxury brand...
The problem is- the Nissan Murano is better than any of the Luxury brands - but is in the end - just a Nissan (like I have now...)
Expensive cars mean expensive parts. The least expensive to maintain (and possibly more reliable) is the Nissan. While BMW's and Lexus's are reliable, when they do break, it will put you out a lot of money. Porsche's, while fun to drive, tend to be more fussy and are harder and more expensive to work on than the other three. It is up to you, but unless you have a lot of money to spend on a car, and then a lot of money to put into that car, I would get the Murano.
