GTO Clone
Any advice for buying a muscle car??
I'm looking into buying a muscle car, but I would like to use it as a daily driver.
I really don't want to have an original car, because I wouldn't want to ruin a true classic, because I will want to have AC and a CD player in it, so I have been advised to look into Clone cars.
Any advice or websites you can point me to would be greatly appreciated.
Thus far I am looking for Pontiac GTO's and Chevy Chevelle's. My dream car would be a Cuda, but I think those are to pricey.

I'm afraid you'll be looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack.
the untouched originals are bringing astronomical prices if you seen any auctions on TV.
that has brought out some of the barn and garage stored ones.
even the cloned ones are bringing record prices.
so your likely to only find ones that have been restored and wrecked or so far gone that only Jay Leno can afford to restore them.
your best bet is to ask around, maybe you can find a private seller that has abandoned his project car or someone needing to make a quick sale.
go to car shows and ask around, have your email and your phone number printed on a business card and ask people if they know of anyone selling something.give them out and you never know.
I saw this wrecked 1972 Chevy SS Nova and the owner told me that someone had already bought it. So just be aware you have a lot of people chasing your dream as well.
