What is Arena Pwnage?
Arena Pwnage is dedicated to helping World of Warcraft arena players break the learning curve which makes it difficult for so many to achieve the rating they desire. We offer players of all levels, whether you just hit 80 or you are a consistent gladiator, the tools, resources, and knowledge to keep your arena skills in tip top shape. As of now players have to scavenge useless forums, spend hours testing strategies, and picking bits of information from various sources if they want to improve their class skills and their teams success in the various brackets. Forget all of this. Because when you are an Arena Pwnage Member you have access to hours of video commentary, countless pages of class/team strategies and tactics, and expert advice from top rated arena pro's on how to improve in every aspect of Arena's.
Our story:
Arena Pwnage was started by Henry "Payne" Lai, Wilson "The Pig" Lai, and Ashkon "Snake" Shayani . The three had already known each other well before WoW, and had actually played competitive Counter-strike source. However because of CS's dying community which was triggered by the collapse of the e-sports leage "CAL" the three turned to WoW arenas. Snake had already been playing competitively since s3 and was already a two time gladiator resto druid, and rogue. Pig and Payne on the other hand were new to the game and when they first stepped into the arena. They understood they were noobs, but they didn't want to go through the familiar learning curve so they turned to their former CS teammate, Snake, who gave them the push they needed. In only one season Pig and Payne went from absolute noobs to 2400 rated players. It was then that they all decided that there needed to be a single place where gladiator players and noobs alike can come together to form a premium arena site focused on providing content that can help both new and veteran players. And so marked the beginning of Arena Pwnage.
Pig and Payne:
Pig and Payne are twins from NYC, who are seasoned entrepreneurs working on growing their business. But when they're not working, they're gaming. Whether it is Diablo, CS, or WoW, they are always passionate about gaming and strive to be the best. Their love of competitive gaming has already shown in their already successful CS community site World Of Pwnage. They turned their focus to WoW and are attempting to bring the art of teaching noobs how to pwn to a whole new level.
Snake:
Snake is a full time business student who uses gaming as a fuel for his competitive personality. In no time at all he became the best arena druid on his server and eventually took his skills to BG9, the most competitive battlegroup in the US. He learned from the best and ended up getting the gladiator title. Now he focuses mainly on establishing Arena Pwnage as the best arena community site on the web.
